Heading Out

When you book your overnight deep sea fishing trip on the Wahoo, we’ll pull out after boarding at 12PM and head for the prime fishing spots. We’ll start our fishing experience with trolling– fishing the top of the water for marlin, sailfish, Mahi, wahoo, and tuna. The big fish we catch while trolling put up a spectacular fight, making for exciting hits and jumps which will be captured, weather permitting, by our drones.

Spend the Evening Catching Fish

In the evening, bottom fishing is prime, so we’ll drop our lines on the reef and catch grouper, snapper, triggerfish, and sea bass, for a steady catch late into the evening hours. Stay up as late as the fish are biting, and fill your cooler with some of the tastiest fish in the sea, then catch a few hours’ sleep in the nicely appointed cabin below before getting up early for another round.

Morning Fishing

When the sun comes up, it’s time for more trolling. If your arms have recovered from the previous day’s fishing, you can once again battle some of the titans of the sea for more chances at exhilarating fights and prime catches. The big game fish bite hardest at first and last light, so your overnight trip gives you two shots at the prime fishing conditions.

We’ll arrive back at the dock at 12PM on the second day, giving you plenty of time in the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore Charleston’s nightlife and relive the moments of your overnight deep sea fishing trip over a few beers with friends.
