Deep Sea Fishing Charters Offer Opportunities to Experience Different Methods

Whether you’re seeking a deep sea adventure on the open ocean or nearer to shore, the Wahoo offers an opportunity to catch a full complement of large game fish and to fill your cooler and your plate. Bottom fishing or trolling, we’ve got you covered.

Trolling

Trolling for Fish

Trolling along the top waters for aggressive, hard fighting big game fish like Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi, Wahoo, Barracuda, Amberjack and Tuna is a big part of our popular full-day package. Troll for the daylight hours, and do some bottom fishing later, picking up Grouper, Snapper, and Triggerfish. The early morning and later afternoon hours are spent bottom fishing for smaller but more plentiful fish.

Bottom Fishing

Bottom fishing involves a more leisurely time of dropping baits near the reef and hauling up dinner fish like Grouper and Snapper. Just as hard-hitting and fighting as their larger cousins but smaller in size and more plentiful, the fish caught while bottom fishing offer more opportunities to haul in your line with a catch and fill your cooler. During mid to late summer when the Mahi Mahi run, it’s possible that we’ll run into a school and fill our limit of 60 fish. It is rare, but when it happens, it’s a day you’ll talk about for years to come.

Deep Sea Fishing

Whether you choose one of our popular full day packages or prefer to fish for a half or three-quarters of a day, we’ll ensure that you have an exciting time. A bad day on the water beats a good day on shore any day, and there are no bad days on the water when you’re deep sea fishing on a top of the line boat with a professional crew. Book your deep sea fishing trip early, before our schedule is booked.
